Inaugural Club Summit
At the inaugural Club Summit – an event dedicated to volunteers in the GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association – in Croke Park last Saturday, Tralee Parnells was represented by Chairman Dermot Reen and club delegate Stephen Buttimer. It brought together Club & County volunteers from across Ireland and beyond, where there were expert-led seminars, interactive exhibitions and inspiring forums – all spread over five content areas : Developing Your Games, Running Your Club, Contributing to your Community, Supporting Your People and Enhancing Your Facilities. The seminars provided opportunities to hear about everything impacting Clubs today. The presentations from experienced clubs and volunteers covered things like supporting volunteers, demographic changes, grant funding / capital projects and Club planning – many very relevant topics for our club as Parnells continues to thrive and grow.
